Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Sans website and application (the “Service”), operated by Interface Logic Studio (“Sans,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

Sans is a newsletter reading application that connects to your Gmail account with read-only access and displays newsletter emails in a dedicated reading list. Sans does not send emails or modify your Gmail mailbox on your behalf.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Sans, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Your account

You sign in to Sans using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your Sans account. You must provide accurate account information and notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

Google and Gmail integration

Sans requires permission to access your Gmail account with read-only scope. By connecting your Google account, you authorize us to access and process newsletter emails as described in our Privacy Policy. You may revoke this access at any time through your Google Account permissions.

Your use of Google services is also subject to Google's terms and policies. Sans is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users' access
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the Service except as permitted by law
  • Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to access

Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by Interface Logic Studio and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your email content. We do not claim ownership of your Gmail data.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all newsletters in your Gmail account will be detected or synced.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Interface Logic Studio and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by disconnecting your Google account and ceasing use of Sans. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
